TITSSN's General Announcement for immediate release

TITSSN will be making its SPEAK program available to the general IT sector on Sunday June 8th in an effort to create a proactive international network of professionals who are serious about the IT Security Threats Landscape and staying on top of it through active collaboration. Every day we are faced with daily challenges of dealing with the threats from the outside in and within the infrastructure. Information is critical to the implementation, management and support of these systems against today's threats and so we're trying to foster more vigilance and valuable resources in this fight so we can be better prepared for the threats of today and tomorrow.

About the SPEAK program.

SPEAK is an active group of proactive professionals who are always willing to share information through email/phone that pertains to imminent/critical security related issues. Information is key to IT Security professionals and SPEAK are very vigilant about it. This group will operate through a special mailing list and forum board to centralize the dissemination of the information and resources that will be available in it. Certain restrictions apply.

How does it works.

Members of this elite group will share information as they become available. Information that is pertinent to impending outbreaks, new and emerging threats, active security effects in an environment that needs help in remediating and open discussion about the IT Security Threats Landscape in general.

The list will archive messages on a monthly basis that will be stored in a distributable format and made available each month to its members. This is in an effort to maintain a record/log of all topics, issues, solutions, suggestion and resources that flows through the group. If/when new members join later, they will be able to catch up on past issues and the value provided by them if needed.

The forum board will be used to continue building on issues raised through emails that may require long discussion threads or active vigilance over a period of time. The moderators will maintain strict vigilance over the posts and use of the group.

We aim to limit the flow of email messages to what is critical and/or in need of immediate response but we cannot guarantee how many messages will be pushed through the list but it will only be related to, IT Security.

What are the membership requirements.

Every member must have a valid digital ID as all messages being sent into the list/group must be signed for verification and validation purposes. Under no circumstances will membership be granted without a valid digital ID. If your ID expires, so will your access to the list and board.

Accept our acceptable use policy that governs the use of the list and board. Those who violate the policy/rules will be banned.

Who are invited.

If you’re not interested in being on an active mailing list to share information, resources and collaborate, please DO NOT request to join this group.

The LinkedIn group can be found here
http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/117502/213A68003CDC and the enrollment form will be available on Sunday June 8th at 12pm EST.

The SPEAK program is not limited to anyone, any organization nor any vertical, we are all affected and at risk from the security issues and so all security professionals are invited to join.

We're finalizing all the different pieces today and will have everything in place for the general opening on Sunday June 8th at 12pm EST. This is the start of something we believe will be very valuable for many people who have reached out to us time and time again in the need of help when going through security issues. TITSSN believes in the sharing of information for the protection of our infrastructure and resources.

TITSSN does not fear IT, we secure IT. Join us in the fight against the IT Security Threats Landscape and its effects.

Thank you and have a great day. We apprecilove your business and support.
